My professional career began right after finished with studies; at that time I aspired at being the protagonist in creating a career out of the hairstyling profession, as I didn’t want to be a simple spectator just performing another common job. My idea of a “hairdresser” is not limited to the concept of “hairstyling”; it’s a form of art mixed with technical skills and then put at everyone’s disposal: from the everyday client searching for the winning look, to the fashion companies looking forward to reaching stylistic perfection through continued progress.
It is my opinion that sharing ideas and experiences is useful to everyone. Thanks to my personal approach, I’ve always made the most of every piece of advice given by colleagues. As I grow professionally I keep learning the techniques and styles they most recommend, thus fueling my passion and my motivation, both essential to help me get better every day.
In the past years the field of hairdressing training has seen a significant expansion; companies are focusing more and more on professional growth by offering an array of diverse training courses to suit every need.
Nowadays every sector of the economy is keeping constantly updated, the training field makes no exception and it takes in the demand to change and evolve by constantly researching new ways to better meet the requests of the fellow peers.
Sometimes launching a new hairstyle trend is not enough, since developing new haircut techniques (as the “dry cut”) or creating new professional hair dyes for salons, ready to use and with guaranteed results, is increasingly an essential part of this profession.
Fashion events are numerous throughout the year and always evolving, varying their themes and set ups.
We were used to witness the renowned fashion weeks, where world class fashion designers showcased their automn-winter and spring-summer collections for the first time; now we’re getting used to seeing more of the creative process of the fashion industry in a number of different occasions.
An immediate example are the famous “cruise collections”, devised by fashion leading brands to give a preview of the upcoming seasonal collections.
This mechanism has furthermore shortened the lifespan of fashion trends, so much that we have to keep constantly updated about a growing number of fashion events of all sorts.
